At Earthly Rituals, it is my hope to create a sense of inner calmness resulting in outer health and beauty. I offer a place to step away from the urban chaos and into peacefulness and nurturing. I will provide spa services that will draw from wisdom around the world. Earthly Rituals is a personal spa, a small, intimate space. My spa is a perfect getaway for one person at a time. At Earthly Rituals, I am dedicated to creating an experience that is unique to YOU.
Earthly Rituals invites you to try Reiki as an approach to wellness for a healing energy ritual
Reiki heals in a noninvasive and holistic manner by balancing energies in the body. It assists in awareness, positive thinking, and vitality, reducing stress and stimulating natural immunity. Reiki can be used for many ailments, like pain reduction, headaches, stomach upsets, back problems, respiratory problems, anxiety, and many more.
During stressful times, distance Reiki is available.

The practitioner and client agree upon a time for the session and discuss any goals the client may have for the session. The practitioner might ask for a picture of the client, although this is not necessary. At the appointed time, the client should be sitting or lying down in a quiet comfortable place, so as not to be disturbed for the length of the session.
The practitioner prepares for the session in the same manner as for an in-person treatment. This involves clearing the healing space of any unwanted energy. This is accomplished in a variety of ways, including the use of sage, crystals, Reiki symbols, prayer, and meditation, and of course, Intent. The practitioner sets the intent of deep healing and blessing for the client, and expresses gratitude for the gift of Reiki.
At the appointed time, the practitioner uses the picture of the client (if provided), or sometimes practitioners simply visualize the client in their mind’s eye, and focus on the client’s name and location. The Reiki energy is directed to similar positions on the body that are treated during an in-person session. You may have experiences ranging from deep relaxation to the unblocking of sinuses, relief of migraine and arthritis pain, lessening of incision swelling and pain, and the release of negative energy and anxiety through tears . The effects of distant Reiki are just as profound as those experienced in an in-person session.

When the session is complete, take a few moments before getting up and moving about. Open your eyes and become readjusted to your surroundings. You may want to sip some water, herbal tea, or eat some chocolate. Listen to your body and rest and move accordingly.

Personalized services with a smile!
I’ve been to several spas in the Seattle area but like this one the best because of the personalized attention. While other spas give excellent service, it sometimes feels like you’re just another client. Patti greets you with a genuinely warm smile and treats you like an old friend. I highly recommend the facials. My last facial was the best I’ve ever had, even compared to other spas that I’ve been to in other parts of the world. My face was smooth and hydrated for weeks! I also recommend the pedicure. Imagine lying down for a pedicure instead of sitting up. It’s so much more comfortable! I gave my husband a scalp massage as a gift and he loved it! The spa is small but it’s inviting, relaxing, and clean with excellent ambiance. As a heads up, since the spa is suitable for 1-2 persons, if you arrive before the previous client is finished, just wait in the hall on the chair or roam the halls. I frequently recommend this spa to my friends and family.

Impactful and Beneficial
I’m thankful to have worked with Patti for my first experience with Reiki. I went in nervous but immediately felt at ease from her calm presence. The room is comfortable and cozy and Patti provided me a cup of blueberry water and bath salts after the session with tips on staying hydrated while I was healing. I found the Reiki session to be impactful and beneficial and felt safe during what can be a vulnerable experience.
